Appointments Please schedule well child exam appointments at least 4 to 8 weeks in advance. This is especially true if you have specific requests, or you wish to see one particular doctor. Since well child checks can be planned for in advance, but illness cannot, we have allotted our appointments so that sick children can be seen readily, usually the same day. This is the reason there may be a waiting period for well child exams.
Please do not make an appointment for one child and then, when you arrive ask that another child be seen. Please call in advance for an additional appointment. We request that you arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment to sign in, complete the necessary paperwork, and meet with a nurse before seeing the doctor. We try to keep as close to our schedule as possible.
No-Show Policy
Missing an appointment without notifying us 24 hours in advance deprives another patient of using that time. If you fail to keep a scheduled well child appointment, we will call you and indicate that you missed your appointment and remind you to reschedule. If a new patient misses an initial visit without 24-hour advance notice, the appointment will not be rescheduled, nor will the patient be admitted into the practice.
